Many group/social interaction sites (forums, online games, chat, networking, etc) have a list somewhere that gives some vague idea of how currently active a site is by giving a list somewhere of last login dates of members, or has a system for rating member activity levels in recent days/weeks or for the past month, or how many posts, blogs, etc; each person has contributed to the site in total.
I can't find any such thing on here shy of going to every individual member profile.
Of the well over 2000 members on this site, how many of them originally signed up like a year ago and haven't been seen since?
Are there a few regulars that are chatty on the forums, or do people tend to breeze in and out at random once every few months or so?
It would be interesting to be able to just have a look at a glance of who I'd be most likely to find and interact with on here if I was to haunt the site often enough.
Something under the members page would be good to have to show in one way or another who on the site is currently active and thus who we can expect to see around.
